A hike through weirdly eroded rock formations in Chiricahua National Monument. You’ll enter the cool depths of Echo Canyon, which is shaded with Apache and ponderosa pines. Follow the trail east along the north side of the canyon. Notice how this slope is brushy, warmer, and drier than the more sheltered bottom of Echo Canyon. You’ll have great views of the rock pinnacles and formations on both sides of the canyon.
