A half-day hike to pools and waterfalls in Tanque Verde Canyon. This short trail visits pools and waterfalls along Tanque Verde Creek that are a favorite swimming and sunbathing spot for locals. These low cascades pour into pools that often hold water even during the dry season.

Very easy and short, down to the pools and up to get back. There was water in the pools but no waterfalls. Apparently best done during/after the August monsoon season.
