I have been to Tucson a couple of times on business and was completely surprised by the terrain of this drive. Just outside of Tucson, a city built in the desert and, during the summer, full of 100+ degree heat, is a beautiful mountain drive, where you can go to completely escape the heat of the city! Wonderful views and cool breezes made me think more of Colorado than the Sonoran desert. Highly recommended!
