Hugh Norris Trail Professional Review and Guide
"A hike along a very scenic ridge in the Saguaro Wilderness, Saguaro National Park. The trail heads southeast into a drainage, and then climbs up a ravine. A few switchbacks lead to the crest of the long ridge trending west from Wasson and Amole Peaks. After dipping through a saddle, the trail climbs gradually eastward across the north side of a peak and through another saddle. Now the trail stays near the ridge crest, generally avoiding small peaks on their north sides. Wasson Peak is the highest summit in the Tucson Mountains and the view is appropriately sweeping. Saguaro National Park is laid out before you, and the Tucson urban area sprawls to the east, below the massive Rincon and Santa Catalina ranges."
