"This is a cool hike through pine, fir, and aspen forest high on the northeast slopes of the Santa Catalina Mountains. It offers a welcome respite from the desert heat and is also pleasant in the fall, when the aspens and other deciduous plants are changing color. There is also a seasonal waterfall in the drainage below the trail. This spot makes a good destination for an out-and-back hike." Read more
