Hull Cabin Trail Professional Review and Guide
"The trail leaves from beside the Grandview Fire Lookout and travels down the side of the Coconino Rim through ponderosa pine forest. A side trail leads 0.4 miles to the Hull Cabins, actually two cabins and a barn, which are used occasionally as a work center in the summer months by the forest service. The cabins are often photographed in their pretty setting—a clearing in a grove of large ponderosa pines. Special Attractions: Hull Cabin Historic District; Trail travels beneath curving Coconino Rim; Can be combined with Coconino Rim Trail to create a loop. High-clearance vehicles are preferred, but not necessary. This trail is dirt roads, but may have rocks, grades, water crossings, or ruts that make clearance a concern in a normal passenger vehicle. The trail is fairly wide, so that passing is possible at almost any point along the trail. Mud is not a concern under normal weather conditions."
