Fish Creek

Fish Creek Professional Review and Guide

"Within the depths of Superstition Wilderness, an ancient people built a large ring of stone atop a hill. Circlestone is as remote as it is mysterious. Visitors can ponder its origins in complete solitude while enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and forests."

Nice cool trail, some good water, some stagnant. We had a hard time getting around some of the boulders - lots of scrambling required.

The trail was a little more difficult because of all the rain we have seen in the last few weeks. There was a lot of climbing over boulders and down into ravine's because we couldnt just walk down the river bed. Teh creek was flowing slightly above its normal crest, andtehre was some slight issues with loose sand and erosion in a few of the areas past the bridge. Over all, though, it was a beautiful hike and definitely got my heart rate up.
