This trail takes you to upper Ramsey Canyon in the Miller Peak Wilderness in the Huachuca Mountains. The trail descends southwest below the campground, and then contours west to Comfort Spring. A very gradual climb through isolated stands of pines leads to a saddle overlooking Ramsey Canyon. After the starkness of the Carr Peak burn, it’s a relief to start the descent southwest into Ramsey Canyon, across the cool, forested mountainside. You can explore up or down Ramsey Canyon. This is a popular area for birding; many rare species are found here.

Good trail and pleasant walk. Great for a family. The trailhead is not well marked but it isn't hard to find.
