Pueblo Canyon Professional Reviews and Guides
"Bigger isn’t always better, but sometimes sheer size has an appeal. The Anchan ruin in Pueblo Canyon is worth its difficult approach on foot simply because it’s one of the biggest cliff dwellings described in this book. When the archaeologist Emil W. Haury ventured into this part of the Sierra Ancha Wilderness in 1930 to gather tree ring samples from the many cliff dwellings in the area, he counted sixty to seventy-five rooms in the Pueblo Canyon ruin. Today, it appears that most of what he saw is still there."
