Vultee Arch Professional Review and Guide
"This hike follows the streambed up Sterling Canyon to an overlook of Vultee Arch, a natural sandstone bridge. Vultee Arch is 40 feet high and spans 50 feet. The trail into Sterling Canyon has views of the surrounding mountains. It is a shady, forested route located in the Red Rock-Secret Mountain Wilderness Area."

DIRT ROAD TO TRAILHEAD WAS TOO ROUGH FOR OUR CAR. WOULD RECOMMEND 4 WD VEHICLE.
The road to the trail head is 4 miles of dirt road, very bumpy, rough ridged and muddy in place. The hike is great. The creek intersects the trail numerous times and one is likely to get wet feet. But it is worth it. The trail is mostly shaded through pines and oaks. The arch is small and can be crossed but we did not do it. Hike is uphill. Enjoyed the hike very much.
