A fine day hike on a new trail in the Coconino National Forest that follows Oak Creek for part of the way. This is a delightful traverse through pinyon-juniper forest, although it would be hot on a summer afternoon. Soon you’ll start to descend, and the trail finally switchbacks down to Oak Creek.
