Doe Mountain Professional Review and Guide
"By looking up at Doe Mountain, it appears to be an awesome, difficult hike. The gentle zigzag switchbacks make it a moderate climb. The views from the 400-foot sage-scented plateau are worth it. Along the trail, are close-up views of caves and rock sculptures in the weathered cliffs. From the vast mesa, you can easily spend the whole day exploring and marveling at the variety of vegetation and the 360-degree vistas."

About 3/4 uphill but the views are more than worth it.
This hike was recommended to us at the visitor center in Sedona. It is doable by anyone with an average fitness level. Views are stunning all along the trail and there is plenty of space on top to relax away from the other hikers. The trail wasn't crowded with us seeing about a dozen other hikers.
