The hike into Carroll Canyon follows a streambed through a rock canyon southwest of the airport hill. It is a quiet, away-from -the-crowds hike. The canyon has a continuous series of terraces which involves some boulder hopping. During winter and spring runoff, there are small waterfalls, cascades, and pools.
