Thunderbird Trail

Thunderbird Trail is a hiking and horse trail in Pima County, Arizona. It is within Saguaro National Park (West) - Tucson Mountain District. It is 1.8 miles long and begins at 2,539 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 3.6 miles with a total elevation gain of 603 feet. The Thunderbird Mine (elevation 2,881 feet) quarry can be seen along the trail. There are also mineshafts along the trail. This trail connects with the following: Cactus Canyon Trail, Gila Monster Mine Trail, Gila Monster Trail, Sweetwater Trail and Brittlebush Trail.
