Holdout Spring Loop

Holdout Spring Loop Professional Review and Guide

"If you want to hike the trail less traveled, the Galiuro Mountains are the place. One of southern Arizona’s less known sky islands, this rugged range is attractive not only because of its remoteness, but also because of its interesting history.

Trails in the Galiuro Mountains receive little maintenance and sections may be brushy and overgrown. You should carry the U.S.G.S. topographic maps, which accurately show the trails on the Holdout Spring Loop. Water is scarce, especially at the start, so all party members should have enough water capacity for a dry camp."
