This is an enjoyable loop hike on Mingus Mountain, with views of Prescott Valley. The hike starts on the Little Yaeger Canyon Trail, which is signed and begins from the southeast side of the parking area. Several switchbacks through pinyon-juniper forest lead to the top of a gentle ridge, where ponderosa pines begin to take over. The trail climbs more gradually through a small saddle, and then ends at Forest Road 105.
