Looping around Little Granite Mountain, this trail traverses pinyon-juniper woodland interspersed with granite boulders and rock formations, and occasional ponderosa pines. You’ll have great views of Granite Mountain and the world-class climbing wall, as well as an optional side hike to a viewpoint near the top of Granite Mountain. From this viewpoint you can see much of the well-named Sierra Prieta (pretty mountains).
