North Mountain Preserve is a very popular destination for bikers, hikers, and equestrians from across the Valley. Nestled right in the middle of Phoenix, the park is surrounded by neighborhoods. There are at least five trailheads feeding into North Mountain. Trail Surface: Singletrack.

Hot, dry and dusty most days--but good, fast singletrack with a few tricky spots. Some uphill grunts, some downhill treachery. Lots of trail options, so each ride here could be very different. Lots of horse riding and hiking happening--just avoid the road apples cause they will funk up your tires.
