28 miles west of Flagstaff at the head of Sycamore Canyon. This singletrack skirts the rim of Sycamore Canyon at its headwaters and offers views of the rugged Sycamore Canyon Wilderness. The riding is mostly smooth, fast singletrack.

This is a lovely ride into the canyon and along the rim. There are some very challenging rocky sections for skilled riders and some hike-a-bike sections for all mere mortals, including a stream crossing. This is not just a smooth cruise with the occassonal rocky patch, this is not a ride for novices. Be prepared for wet and rocky challenges and enjoy.
