Pivot Rock Canyon Trail Professional Review and Guide
"Your trailhead is at the end of the campground, about 0.25 mile in. There is no trailhead sign; you and your dog simply continue along the road, heading northwest, to take this trail (it is officially blocked to motor vehicle traffic farther up, but cycling and horseback riding are allowed in the canyon).
It is a delight that Pivot Rock Creek flows much of the time, and you can often find pools of water for your dog’s cooling dips. Nonetheless, be sure to water and leash your dog before setting out and pack in water for the dry spots along your way. Always treat what you drink from the stream if it is flowing."
