The scenic Rim Trail is arguably Grand Canyon National Park’s finest easy day hike. Nowhere else in the park do Grand Canyon vistas unfold in such breathtaking dimensions. Although the trail often closely follows park roads, segments of the trail (notably, between Yavapai Point and the lodge complex, and between The Abyss and Pima Point) deviate from the course of the road, allowing hikers to enjoy interesting perspectives of the Canyon in comparative solitude.

This hike is awesome. You could do the whole thing or just pop in and do a section where ever you want. Kids loved it because it was pretty easy with epic non-stop views.

Beautiful views of the canyon all along this hike. Keep your camera handy. Easy walking. We did this hike twice.
