Hermit Trail

Hermit Trail is a hiking trail in Coconino County, Arizona. It is within Grand Canyon National Park. It is 7.3 miles long and begins at 3,214 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 12.2 miles with a total elevation gain of 6,455 feet. The Santa Maria Spring spring, the Hermit's Rest Viewpoint viewpoint, and the Cathedral Stairs (elevation 4,462 feet) and Breezy Point (elevation 4,416 feet) cliffs can be seen along the trail. The trail ends near the Hermits Rest Restaurant and the Hermit Creek camp site. There are also drinking water and restroom near the end of the trail. This trail connects with the following: Waldron Trail, Dripping Springs Trail and Tonto Trail.
