Mount Trumbull Professional Review and Guide

"Rising above the remote Tuweep region of the Arizona Strip, Mount Trumbull offers a wonderful walk through pine forests, plus some nice views. In January 2000 Mount Trumbull became part of the newly established Grand Canyon– Parashant National Monument, which encompasses more than a million acres of the Arizona Strip."

This was a nice easy hike. While it was warm at the start, the trail quickly gained elevation (most of the elevation gain was in the first 3/4 mile) and entered a forest where the temperature was more moderate. It was quiet and scenic, although the view from the summit was a little disappointing as there was too much vegetation for panoramic views.
