The amethest mine is located between the Peaks to the far right side. Through binoculars one can see the entrance to the mine. Its said to contain some of the best specimens in the world. However, it was sold recently and the new owners do not allow trespassers People who wish to go, should check into if wether or not they even can! (Used to be a helecopter tour (expensive) but not so sure they offer that anymore! Sucks!!
