A cross-country walk along a fine alpine ridge, on San Francisco Mountain in the Kachina Peaks Wilderness. This is probably one of the least climbed peaks in the area, yet the views of San Francisco Mountain and the Dry Lake Hills are excellent. The beautiful alpine meadows, lined with aspen, limber pine, and ponderosa pine are a pleasure to walk through.
