Climbing some 2,400 feet above the east end of Flagstaff, the Elden Lookout Trail rewards hikers in more ways than one. Not only does the summit afford a great bird’s-eye view of the city and the surrounding Coconino Plateau, it also provides insight into how nature mends itself after a large forest fire.

Great hike with some nice views on the way up. Nice summit near the radio towers that you can see from Flagstaff. Some light snow near the top. Well maintained and worth the hike.
