Using two of the newest trails in the Mount Elden trail system, this loop takes you up the canyon between Mount Elden and the Dry Lake Hills on the Little Bear Trail, then along the scenic ridge south of Little Elden Mountain. Return is via the Heart Trail, where you’ll have scenic views of the Cinder Hills and distant Painted Desert.
