From the Rucker Trailhead in the southern Chiricahua Mountains, this rugged loop climbs to the crest of the range on the Raspberry Ridge Trail. After traversing a section of the Crest Trail, you return via the Price Canyon and Rucker Canyon Trails. Large sections of this loop were burned in 1997 and there’s little trail maintenance. Expect slow hiking because of deadfall and trail erosion. The trail follows the seasonal creek west to the campground and trailhead, which is 3.4 miles from the Red Rock Canyon Trail.
