"This is a relatively easy hike into a pretty but often overlooked canyon. In early spring or after recent rains (but not during the rain due to fl ash-fl ood dangers), you can fi nd substantial swimming holes. In midsummer, this route is too dry and hot to be considered a fi ve-star experience."
