The trail is easy to get to, and definitely does not get a lot of human use. I found it frustrating to spend the first section of the trail walking next to a subdivision. I also had some very comical encounters with cattle along the trail - quite a lot. They really tore up portions of the trail, and were pretty fragrant! It is a quiet, long hike if you want solitude, but there are more scenic hikes in the area...
