Northshore Lake Pleasant

Northshore Lake Pleasant Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Trail provides easy access to beautiful coves along north shore of Lake Pleasant. Area is small, but it takes a while to cover if you explore all the coves. Great for weekend campouts. You’ll need a fishing license if you fish. You’ll head south from staging area into Lake Pleasant Regional Park (pass required). Trail has two main forks with countless secondary forks. All lead to water’s edge or viewpoints along cliffs.

Some trails lead into the water and continue farther when lake is low. Never enter the water on your ATV; this could pollute the lake. Water levels are usually high from February through May, then decrease to lowest levels August through October. Staging area for this trail is same as for Trails 7 and 8. Take a long weekend and explore all three trails. More trails east of staging area."

This is a pretty lake in Arizona where water sports are popular. The trail is small and and has a nice view of the lake. It can be very crowded on the weekends in the summer though. Another nice touch is the wild burros that can be seen in the park!
