Fish Creek is the major canyon system that drains the north-central portion of the Superstition Mountains. The trails on this loop are rough and see little use, but the upside of your slightly tougher journey is a chance to see some of the least visited country in the Superstition Wilderness. A bonus is a visit to the site of the historic Reavis Ranch. A seasonal stream in lower Rogers Canyon, a tributary of Fish Creek, is yet another delight of this backpack trip.
