From the Broadway trailhead, Jacob's Crosscut Trail follows the slope of the western edge of the Superstition Mountains, with sheer cliffs and giant rock formations on one side, and a panorama of the eastern metropolitan area on the other. The trail leads north to the popular Treasure Loop, a series of short trails that ascend the slopes through big, bizarre rock formations. OUTSTANDING FEATURES: Variable Sonoran vegetation, giant boulders, vistas of mountains, vallrys, and the eastern metropolitan area.
