Randolph Canyon Hike

Randolph Canyon Hike Professional Review and Guide

"This hike first descends cross-country through scenic Randolph Canyon, a lessvisited canyon in the southern Superstition Mountains, and then returns via the trail up Fraser Canyon. You’ll pass JF Ranch, a historic working cattle ranch on the south edge of the Superstition Wilderness. surface: Dirt and rocks.

Hike north on the JF Trail past the junction with the Coffee flat and Woodbury Trails—the Coffee flat Trail will be our return. The JF Trail follows Randolph Canyon downstream to the northwest, then leaves the canyon to climb north. Turn left here, leave the JF Trail, and follow Randolph Canyon cross-
country downstream to the west. The going is easy down the wash, and at first the canyon is broad and open, but it narrows somewhat as it turns southwest."
