A most enjoyable hike through the high country in the eastern Superstitions. You’ll have a chance to climb the highest peak in the range, visit the site of historic Reavis Ranch, and hike along beautiful Campaign Creek. Hike through the Reavis Mountain School and continue southwest along Campaign Creek. This section of the creek has a permanent flow of water from several nearby springs. Just after a side canyon comes in from the right, turn right on the Reavis Gap Trail. This trail is not shown on the USGS maps and sections can be difficult to follow.
