This is an easy cruise on fun singletrack through classic desert. This short loop is especially good for families with very young riders. Numerous trails in this section of the park make possible several different loops - avoid the trails that follow washes because of deep sand. This ride and Moon Rock Loop are but two of the possibilities. It's located in northeast Mesa. Tread: Singletrack.

I'm just getting into mountain biking and liked this trail. There is a 5$ day use fee. The trail starts and stops in the horse staging area, so to find the trail look for the horse trailers.

There is a lot of relatively flat single-track that is lined with Cholla and plenty of wildlife. Good for the wife and kids. The only complaint I have is the horse droppings, but things could be worse.
