Buffalo National River-Buffalo Point to Rush Landing

Buffalo National River-Buffalo Point to Rush Landing Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The bluffs are as tall as the upper Buffalo, but with the deep canyon being densely forested and terraced, the beautiful scenery is not as dramatic as the Ponca run. Still, the slow 7.5 miles on this easy class I run can typically be floated year-round, making it an excellent choice for beginners or paddlers seeking a summer escape.

The NPS campground at Buffalo Point makes an excellent base. At Rush Landing, check out the preserved mining ghost town."
