This is a winding trail through a pine and mixed-hardwood forest. This trail should be called Spider Web Trail. Although most of it is blazed with pink splashes on the trees, some intersections are confusing. The first section curves generally to the left on a downhill slant with some level stretches. Walking is easy.

This is a nice beginners trail. My daughter and I have never hiked before, so we thought this trail would be a good place to start. We were right. The trail and landscape were covered with a beautiful "carpet" of crimson red, light brown and golden leaves. I am sure it is nice in the spring/summer as well. We will plan to go back and see. This trail is close to the Dancing Rabbit Trail as well. You can hike them both as one larger trail if you are up for a 2 mile hike. We recommend this trail for any novice hikers or anyone who wants to give hiking a try.
