"Mount Magazine boasts the highest elevation in Arkansas with temperatures as much as 10–15ºF cooler than surrounding areas. Mount Magazine State Park is home to Arkansas’s Butter?y Festival each June, and the mountain is known for the variety of butter?y species it attracts.

This hike combines the North Rim, Mossback Ridge, Signal Hill, and Green?eld Trails to form a ?gure eight hike, capitalizing on scenic vistas and crossing the wooded high point of Arkansas."
