This wonderful trail system covers 6.8 miles in a series of six loops and connecting trails. Most of the riding surface is hard-packed single-track, with only a few steep, rugged sections, and can be ridden by riders of all skill levels. It is very well maintained and makes good use of switchbacks to keep the grades manageable. Compared to other more rocky trails found in Arkansas, the relatively smooth Earthquake Ridge Trail System is a joy to pedal. These trails are located one mile northwest of Mena.

Extremely technical trail. Lots and lots of rocks gave my hardtail a beating. Parts of the trail were fun, but I'm not heading back any time soon.

This is about the best trail in the area if you are looking for some really fun, fast and rugged downhill. It has one very long climb but is not real steep it slowly meanders up the side of the hill. If you are in the area say ridding Womble trail I would make the 40 minute trip from Mt. Ida to ride this trail. My only complaint is that it was way to short this trail really need to be about 8 miles long.
