Allsop Park Professional Review and Guide
"Allsop Park, a Little Rock green space since the 1920s, consists of two tracts of beautiful open space in the northern part of the city. The wilder north section hides a three-quarter-mile loop that follows a combination of old carriage road and single-track. The south half of the park features about three miles of trails. Most are in a tight, twisting maze in the park's southwestern corner. Most of the trail in the south half is single-track. Local cyclists have nick-named the park Allrock Park, so expect a few technical sections that will be a hoot for experienced bikers. Still, beginners should give Allsop Park a shot. If novices are willing to walk the occasional tough spot and give Allsop a chance, they'll soon find easier loops that fit their skills. These trails are located in the hillcrest section of Little Rock."

Overall I enjoyed this trail. Due to the size of the park it is basically a maze, which can make it difficult if you're unfamiliar with the trail, you'll find yourself making 1/4 mile circles through the park. However I loved the technicality of the trail, many rocky sections require special attention if you don't like to poke down the trail like me. Depending on how fast you ride certain downhill sections can be difficult as well. I certainly recommend it if you're staying in Little Rock and don't have time to venture out to some of Arkansas' more remote trails.
