Little Piney Creek rises just east of AR 21 near Devil’s Knob at an elevation of 2,335 feet and flows to the southeast past Hagarville, Arkansas, and into Lake Dardenelle. The whitewater is not as noteworthy as that on Big Piney Creek, but paddlers are treated to a very remote area of the Ozark National Forest. Fast, milky green water flows over rocky shoals and through tree-lined banks. Willow jungles and brush piles constitute the most significant obstacles. Some of the willow jungles should be scouted due to the lack of a definite course.
