"This 10.6-mile out-and-back hike in the Buffalo National River area has a little bit of everything that the Ozarks have to offer. Hikers choosing this route to Hemmed-In Hollow not only get to see the tallest waterfall between the Rockies and Appalachians, they will also have the opportunity to travel to one of the most scenic bluff overlooks that the river has to offer in Big Bluff. A visit to the Buffalo River, and a couple of river crossings, wrap up the highlights of this not-to-be-missed hike. Get ready for an adventure on this hike! The Centerpoint Trail to Hemmed-In Hollow route includes the tallest sheer bluff between the Rockies and the Appalachians. National River crossings, and a visit to the tallest waterfall between the Rockies and the Appalachians. Big Bluff is considered by many Buffalo River fans as one of the most scenic spots to visit along the river.
