I just did the out and back to Tall Peak from Albert Pike Campground. Everything is double-track and the road up to Tall Peak is very rocky and I ended up doing a hike-a-bike up it. There were many areas where the inclines were a little steep or the gravel too loose, so be prepared to hike at least a few miles. There weren't many places to look out over the road to get a good view of things, and the lookout from Tall Peak was very hazy and I wasn't able to see much of anything. All in all it is a good challenging ride for a double-track.
