I have hiked all of the trails you can hike on the Alabama Gulf Coast, which only makes sense since I live there. Yes, I have hiked all of the trails in L.A. (Lower Alabama), or so I thought. One day an e-mail pops up on my computer. It was an invitation to hike the Muddy Creek Interpretive Trail in the town of Theodore. Curious, I shot the author an e-mail and asked where Muddy Creek was and what it was like."

For a while the parking area was locked until about 7-8 am. However it is now being opened earlier so you can begin your walk at daybreak. It's a nice well maintained trail however the parking area is a bit lonely and remote. We did not see much in the way of wildlife but it is a nice walk in the woods.
