Rainbow Loop Trail Professional Review and Guide

"An oasis amidst the subdivisions, the Rainbow Mountain Loop Trail follows a generally rocky path around the east face of the mountain and features unique rock formations such as Balance Rock, a cliffline with excellent views, fossils, Belly-Up and other caves, and a waterfall. Trail surface: Generally rocky, with small boulders and table rocks acting as pavers along the route.

The Rainbow Mountain Loop Trail is another excellent example of the hard work that the Huntsville Land Trust and North Alabama Sierra Club has put into saving what’s left of the greenspace around the ever-expanding Huntsville-Madison city
limits."

Great Trail. A little warm to start near lunch. The trail guide from Trails.com needs updating.
