Blakely State Park is a great place to go for a hike in Baldwin County, Alabama. The park has several easily accessible, well maintained trails. Parts are well-built, sturdy boardwalks that allow you to walk over marshy areas and access the Delta for fishing, birdwatching, and sightseeing. There is a launch for canoes and kayaks with plenty of parking. There is also a nice campground for both tent and RV camping. The park is a fee area – day use fees are $4 for anyone 13+, $3 for kids 6 – 12 and free for younger children. Additional fees apply for camping and boat launch.
