Chattahoochee Trace Challenge Professional Review and Guide
"The Chattahoochee River forms a natural boundary between the Wiregrass region of southeastern Alabama and the southwest corner of Georgia. This ride makes a loop around the Chattahoochee River and Lake Eufaula, with side trips to Fort Gaines, the Walter F. George Lock and Dam, and the historic city of Eufaula. Saving exploration of Eufaula for last this ride heads out from White Oak Creek Park along 45,000-acre Lake Eufaula. The lake was created by damming the Chattahoochee River at the Walter F. George Lock and Dam. Numerous small parks dot the shoreline, offering fine views of the lake and river. Terrain: rolling to hilly."
