Petersburg Lake

Petersburg Lake Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"A trail traveling by a creek, wild?ower meadows, old-growth
forest, and a lake, with one of the few low elevation, longer hiking trails in all of Southeast Alaska. The Petersburg Lake Trail is one of only a very few longer, low-elevation hikes in Southeast Alaska.

The hike’s diversity is pretty remarkable, considering that the net elevation gain is only 100 feet. The creek, wildflower meadows, old-growth forests, and mile-long Petersburg Lake make this a premier hike."
