Point Bridget

Point Bridget Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"A variety of short trails traveling through old-growth forest and wild?ower meadows, along the coast with route options for short day hikes, or longer loop adventures. A short, nearly flat hike with a lot of variety and three fee cabins for overnighters, Point Bridget is a great trip for beginning hikers and families.

Both kids and adults will find plenty to do, exploring old-growth forest, wildflower meadows, stony beaches, and small creeks. In the wildlife department, the possibilities are deer, geese, rafts of sea ducks, whales, sea lions, seals, and, beginning in late July, salmon runs in Cowee Creek (and maybe bears too, so make plenty of noise on the trail, especially when the fish are running)."
